HAYDANHUYA

I am not planing to be an artist. But long since I have been thinking about some products that may not be that useful in our modern life, but useful for our inner-life, lets say or for our soul. 

These wood-like objects are made of leather. They really have a different texture and it makes you happy to hold them in your hands. These represents the days of a week and you decide which one is which day. If today is tuesday, you take the one represents tuesday for you and put it in your pocket. As you reach and touch it during the day, it reminds you that you are here, and you are alive inside this moment of this specific day. 

I made them using one of the methods of Koray Aris. I get them together, sand them, and polish them by rubbing them to the plain wood. It was a great experience to work with leather with such a method and also working with this artist. Koray Aris was the most modest and worh hearted artist I have ever known.
